Lincoln’s Nurse Aide training teaches students the practical skills necessary to sit for the state certification exam so they can earn the credential of Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).

Certified Nurse Aide (CNAs) play key roles on healthcare teams by providing direct patient care and emotional support to both patients and their families. CNAs can be found caring for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor's offices, home health care settings and other places where personalized care is needed.

The CNA training provided in our program delivers career-specific instruction where students:

  • Learn how to take vital signs and maintain medical and personal equipment.
  • Train on common Nurse Aide tasks such as feeding, toileting and bathing.
  • Practice patient transport via wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
  • Learn how to guide patients through therapeutic/rehabilitative exercises.
