Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinists are needed to help move New England’s industries into a new era of efficiency and productivity. CNC machines are redefining what it means to be “made in America,” with clean, safe, modern factories replacing the “old school” assembly lines in noisy, cramped manufacturing sites. CNC Machining and Manufacturing training at Lincoln Tech’s East Windsor campus can help you build the skills employers need in this in-demand field.
Students train in the HAAS Technical Education Center (HTEC) on the Lincoln campus, where they will work with blueprints and industry-standard software to create M-Code and G-Code that will direct the machine's operation. Using the code they write and industry-standard 3, 4 and 5-axis HAAS machinery, students can create highly sophisticated objects and parts to very precise standards. Talented CNC machinists are often employed to create pieces for use in aerospace, military and medical applications.
