You'll learn to work with both copper and fiber-optic cabling across a wide range of applications that can mean great career opportunities when you graduate. Lincoln’s instructors bring field experience to your studies, which enhances this skilled trade program and makes the course materials more relatable.

The electronics technology industry is growing across the state, making this a great time to start training for a career in the field! This training program can help prepare you for careers working with alarm systems, nurse call systems in hospitals, closed circuit TV setups, whole-home automation, cable TV installation, and a lot more.

You'll also spend time in the on-campus "Smart House," a framed structure that's built with "rooms" where you can practice wiring through cutaway walls and ceilings to put your skills to the test! Training in the Smart House helps you build skills for reading blueprints, pulling cable, bending conduits, installing junction boxes, and troubleshooting computer networks.

As a graduate, you’ll hold an Associate’s Degree and be ready to pursue electronic systems jobs in residential and commercial fields!
