Indianapolis Student becomes part of the Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Team

Christian Current of Lincoln Tech’s Indianapolis campus was in the pits for this year’s Indy 500 landmark race – all thanks to the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports (SPM) Mentor Program! As part of a partnership with Lincoln Tech, SPM offered hands-on positions as honorary crew members to Lincoln Tech students at each of this season’s first six races. Christian, training for an Automotive Technology career, was chosen for a race right in his school’s back yard! He joined driver James Hinchcliffe and the SPM team for the Indy 500, experiencing life as a member and learning about what it takes to build a career on the competitive IndyCar circuit!
