Keeping In Touch
Staying connected to Lincoln’s Career Services
- If you apply for a job and the employer wants your résumé faxed or e-mailed, Career Services can send the employer your résumé.
- We know of jobs that are not posted online, or in the classifieds, that we’ll share with you.
- We will promote you to employers by giving them a reference on how well you interacted with Career Services.
- Employers contact us when they hire you to find out what you learned in your program and inquire about your skills.
- Even after you are employed, you can stay connected to Lincoln’s valuable resources through your Student Portal.
- Come back to Lincoln as a guest speaker, and receive a presenter certificate to include in your portfolio.
Let us know when you find employment
- When you become employed, the Career Services department updates your résumé with that job’s information and keeps an updated résumé on file (should you be interested in a promotion or another position).
- Even if you are working and have a job, we’ll share job information with you because we are always helping employers fill job openings. And, it may be a job you might be interested in.
- You may encounter a situation where your employer is requesting résumés be sent to their office. If you do not notify Career Services that you are employed, and your résumé is sent, you may find yourself in a difficult situation.
