Originally founded as the Greer College of Automotive Engineering in 1902, transitioning to the Lincoln Tech community in 1969. Lincoln Tech proudly announces its recently unveiled major campus upgrades, as highlighted during our grand opening & ribbon cutting ceremony, which included the launch of a brand-new HVAC Technology program, a new Tesla START training center, and an expanded Welding Technology facility. These updates join our automotive and healthcare training programs, making the Melrose Park campus an excellent destination for those interested in specialized career training.

Audi
As an automotive student at Melrose Park, you may augment your training through an Audi-developed independent learning module. Graduates of Lincoln’s automotive technician programs who have completed the Audi independent online training program can apply to this automotive leader as entry-level automotive technicians with Audi-specific specialized training.
Johnson Controls
Participate in the Johnson Controls Prep training program at our Melrose Park campus. Qualified graduates from the Electrician and Electrical Systems Technology program are also eligible to apply for continued specialized product-specific training sponsored by Johnson Controls at the Johnson Controls Academy.
The company is seeking HVAC Technicians, Electricians, and Electronic Systems Technicians to serve their customers in the United States. Johnson Controls has donated equipment to ten Lincoln Tech campuses, which helps train the next-generation technicians who will install and maintain their equipment.
Mazda
The Lincoln Tech & Mazda partnership provides technician training on Mazda models and proprietary technology through a Mazda-developed independent learning modules. These courses enhance your familiarity with Mazda-specific servicing, maintenance and roadside assistance skills.
Tesla
Electrical Vehicle (EV) technology is quickly becoming a must-add knowledge base to the student technician’s skill set. Our Melrose Park campus has just launched the Tesla specialized training program at its newly updated location. This partnership helps develop the next generation of Tesla’s service technicians for the EV workforce. The onsite Tesla training facility provides manufacturer’s vehicles, tools, equipment, charging stations and its own instructors to deliver the program. Students accepted into the 16-week program receive an hourly stipend while they train and the opportunity to apply for positions at Tesla service centers across North America1.
