Founded in 1902 as Greer Automotive College, Lincoln Tech’s Melrose Park auto mechanic school has helped tens of thousands of auto technicians begin new careers over the course of its history. Earn an Automotive Service Technology diploma, or graduate with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Service Management Technology. Whichever program you choose, you’ll receive quality instruction in real-world equipment, and learn from professionals who know what it takes to succeed.
With 16 auto bays, nine lifts, nine “drive-in” classrooms and an Auto Web Tech Lab, students have all the resources they need to practice diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques, as well as the repair and maintenance of today’s cars, trucks, and SUVs.

- Rebuild an engine, flush a brake line, and troubleshoot on-board computers.
- Diagnose and repair transmissions and drive train components.
- Repair A/C and heating systems, power windows, doors, and seats.
