2026 Texas HS Welding Series: Welding & Build Off Event at Lincoln Tech Houston

Lincoln Tech Houston proudly hosted the Texas High School Welding Series Regional Welding & Build Off Competition on January 9, 2026! More than 30 high schools from across Texas came to showcase their welding skills, teamwork, and passion for the trades. This exciting event featured:

• Certification Tests
• Cutting Contest
• Underwater & Virtual Welding
• Build Off Competition

These student welders came ready to impress, showing their skills, having fun, and preparing for their future. Many students earned prizes, including tools and equipment to help them build out their toolboxes, and scholarships to help them advance their training. Congratulations to everyone who gave their all throughout the event, and a special congratulations to the teams that won the competitive Build Off competition:
