Lincoln Tech's Welding Technology program in Grand Prairie, TX helps you develop key fundamental skills during initial courses and then advance toward mastering skills using complex procedures. This welding school in Texas features a 196,283 square-foot facility and has 75 welding booths where you’ll learn how to cut, solder and weld plates and pipes. Our campus recently marked 50 years of career training, and since 2008 this hands-on Welding Technology training prepares you for careers such as a Welding Technician, Brazing Technician and more. You'll train on a lot of different techniques for welding steel pipe and plate metal, learning to perform arc welding through the shielded metal, gas metal, flux core, and Gas Tungsten methods. Your training also includes classes in metal fabrication, and you can even add specialized pipefitting courses to your training and open more doors after you graduate!
