Three Excellent Automotive Programs Available
Automotive Technology
Excellent repair skills are built on a strong understanding of automotive technical knowledge. An individual that develops these skills becomes an essential resource to the automotive industry and its millions upon millions of customers. With 1,560 hours of instruction, Lincoln Tech’s Automotive Technology program readies the graduate with the knowledge and shop experienced needed to enter the repair industry as a competent entry-level mechanic. This diploma program is available in day, afternoon and evening schedules.
Automotive Repair Technician
This program is quite similar to our Automotive Technician program, however, certain courses regarding management techniques have been combined to shorten the overall program. The core technical courses shared by these two programs are the same, so the excellent training is consistent no matter which one the student selects. The upside to the Automotive Repair program is that it allows the student to graduate and enter the field at a faster pace.
Automotive Service Management
The Automotive Service Management program is designed to create knowledgeable communications between the mechanic and the consumer. Courses are tailor-fit to teach individuals the skills needed to understand the customer’s concerns and translate them into a diagnosis. The curriculum also teaches how to use that diagnosis to estimate the cost of repairing the vehicle, and to manage the repair process from start to finish. With 1,830 hours of instruction, this program is packed with hands-on technical training, as well as service shop management procedures. The graduate of this program earns an Associate degree in Automotive Service Management. The program is available in day and afternoon classes.
Where do Automotive Graduates Work?
