On the Eleventh Day of Christmas at Lincoln Tech ...

After days of hearing about gifts that need to be able to stand up to dirt, oil, fire, and thousands of pounds of machinery and/or torque, it was a breath of fresh air to reach out to the instructors at Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences in Las Vegas, Nevada. Part of the Lincoln Tech family of schools, Euphoria Institute students concentrate on hair design, skin care, makeup application, and nail technology. While the gift ideas were completely different than what we had been receiving, they were just as memorable, and ideal for our cumulative blog series, the “Thirteen Days of Christmas at Lincoln Tech.”
In a perfect twist of fate, Nine Ladies Dancing surprised us by forming a kick line in our corporate office. Good thing they had just flown in from Vegas, where the students from Euphoria had created works of art with their skin, hair and nails. Truly breath-taking.
No matter what holiday you celebrate this time of year, remember, it’s better to give than to receive. So if you run into a Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences student, you’ll know how to make their holidays happy!
On The Eleventh Day of Christmas at Lincoln Tech, Euphoria Institute instructors asked for a Skin Scanner …
… and Lincoln Tech instructors asked for Timberland Steel Toe Boots, a Welding Helmet, an Immersion Circulator and Sous Vide Cooker, a Snap-On Electronic Torque Wrench, an Ohms Law & DC Circuit Trainer, a Dial Bore Gauge, an Air Impact Gun, a DJI Image Professional Inspire Drone, a Suture Removal Simulator, and a 34 Channel USB Logic Analyzer.
Nicole Terrill, an Aesthetics instructor at Euphoria thought a skin scanner would be an ideal holiday gift for any of her students. “Professional skin scanners let aestheticians see for themselves the depth of skin damage a person has when suggesting advanced treatments,” offered Terrill. “It’s easy to operate and provides complete illumination and observation.”
Other gift ideas for beauty junkies included Drunk Elephant (best name ever) Vitamin C Serum, a Micro-Current Facial Toning Device, Nail Varnish Printers, Disney Princess Cosmetics, Exotic Nail Stickers, a “Roots Are For Trees” T-shirt, a Foot Spa, and a Leopard Print Apron.
Helping Others Look and Feel Their Best.
The Las Vegas, NV campus of Euphoria Institute of Beauty Arts & Sciences provides a creative backdrop to the professional business of beauty arts and sciences. From hair design to indulgent spa services, students at the Euphoria Institute Cosmetology school in Las Vegas are given the opportunity to pursue Cosmetology training, study the latest advances in Nail Technology or prepare to become an Aesthetician.
These budding cosmetologists, aestheticians and nail techs put their training to good use last year when they teamed up with Project 150, a non-profit dedicated to helping homeless high school students in Las Vegas, get ready for a “Prom Night” they’ll never forget. Euphoria students and staff hosted hair and make-up workshops for the students and donated more than 200 vouchers for hair, nails and make-up.
“What an incredible event to be a part of,” says Euphoria Institute President Lu Suarez. “These are exceptional students who deserve every helping hand we can provide. We are proud of our new partnership with Project 150 and look forward to helping high school students be successful!”
