Since 1919 Lincoln Tech’s Nashville Campus – originally founded as Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC) – has been an academic cornerstone in Music City.   Tens of thousands of automotive, diesel and heavy equipment professionals have graduated from NADC since its founding, and the Nashville Hall of Fame honored six of their most outstanding alumni in an early April ceremony.

“Since Mr. H.O. Balls came to our city with three pennies in his pocket and started NADC,” says Campus President Jim Coakley, “the Nashville campus has been dedicated to providing outstanding education and training for students passionate about starting careers doing what they love.  The bi-annual Nashville Hall of Fame induction ceremony is a chance for us to reflect on the NADC tradition and celebrate our graduates who have gone on to achieve great things.”

Nashville Hall of Fame Inductees

The Nashville Hall of Fame was established in 1987, and more than 70 outstanding graduates and educators have been inducted.  This year’s inductees included Ricky Cook of Smyrna, TN (Class of ’75), Gary Davis of Hendersonville, TN (’71), Jeremy Gannon of Demotte, IN (’96), David McNamee Benton, AR (’97), Wasey Ryder of Burns, TN (’93), and Steve Walker of Smyrna, TN (’76).

Many of Nashville’s graduates come back to teach at the school that gave them their start in the industries where they’ve enjoyed success.  Students come from all parts of the country to train at Lincoln Tech in Nashville for hands-on careers in the auto, collision repair, diesel, truck and heavy equipment industries, fields expected to add nearly 360,000 jobs nationally by 2024*.  Lincoln Tech’s training partners in Nashville include Ryder International, Caterpillar, Scott Equipment, Thermo King and many more.

If you are ready to further your education, do so with a campus that has proven itself for over 95 years to be worthy of your time and talent. With connections to  industry giants, you will ready to set your sights on future success, from enrollment to graduation and beyond in your future career.
