On December 1st and December 15th, you can take your first step toward launching a career as a Medical Assistant by beginning a hands-on training program at the Atlanta campus of Lincoln College of Technology in Marietta! The state of Georgia has a demonstrated need for trained, qualified Medical Assistants: the field is ranked as the 13th-fastest growing job in Georgia, and 10th highest among medical professions. Opportunities for Medical Assistants are projected to grow 50% across the state from 2012-2022, more than three times the statewide average for all jobs. In Lincoln’s Medical Assistant program, you’ll receive academic and technical training in laboratories, our hands-on Doctor’s Office Classroom, and Lincoln’s Virtual Medical Office. The Medical Assistant training program includes everything from taking vital signs and maintaining patient charts to patient billing and medical office management. You’ll graduate with the clinical and administrative skills needed to succeed in today’s dynamic healthcare environment.
