The Thirteen Days of Christmas at Lincoln Tech: Day Twelve.

More and more holiday shopping is now being done online. Search, click, buy.
Sometimes though, you’re not even sure what to search for. That’s why we reached out to Lincoln Tech instructors for great holiday gift ideas for their students. Quite a few of them had been Lincoln Tech students themselves once upon a time, so who better to know what might be topping students’ Wish Lists.
We asked them to recommend gifts that students could use on the job in the future, and they came up with items that seemed thoughtful and extremely necessary. We wanted to pass their ideas on, so we crafted a cumulative blog series, “The Thirteen Days of Christmas at Lincoln Tech.” Happy Shopping!
While crafting today’s blog, we were thrilled to look out the window here at the corporate office, and see Seven Swans a’ Swimming in our pond. I guess some passing cars were just as excited, and before we knew it, we had a few minor fender benders. Luckily nobody was hurt, and a few Collision Repair and Refinishing students from Indianapolis got on FaceTime to offer up some cool air-brushing techniques.
No matter what holiday you celebrate this time of year, remember, it’s better to give than to receive. So if you run into a Lincoln Tech student, you’ll know how to make their holidays happy!
On The Twelfth Day of Christmas at Lincoln Tech instructors asked for a Monoprice Networking Tool Kit with Crimpers, RJ45 Jacks and a Wire Tester …
… a Skin Scanner, Timberland Steel Toe Boots, a Welding Helmet, an Immersion Circulator and Sous Vide Cooker, a Snap-On Electronic Torque Wrench, an Ohms Law & DC Circuit Trainer, a Dial Bore Gauge, an Air Impact Gun, a DJI Image Professional Inspire Drone, a Suture Removal Simulator, and a 34 Channel USB Logic Analyzer.
Wilfredo Cruz, an instructor at Lincoln Tech in Paramus, NJ was specific in his Tool Kit request. “It has to be a Monoprice Networking Tool Kit with Crimpers, RJ45 Jacks and a Wire Tester,” Cruz explained. “This is a good quality tool kit, ideal for students that trained in my labs.”
Some other geeky gift ideas included a Nord VPN, a Minecraft USB Charger, Wireless Headphones, a Lockitron, USB LED Beverage Coolers, Gunnar Eyewear, a 2-in-1 Dual Monitor and a Liquid Plastic Welder!
