Lincoln Showcases its Skills at the Skills USA Conference
Lincoln Tech is dedicated to helping students become the best professionals they can be. With its commitment to provide support, education and encouragement, Lincoln is the type of school that fits in perfectly with the SkillsUSA organization. From June 23–25, Lincoln Tech will be at SkillsUSA’s 51st National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) in Louisville, Kentucky.
Each year, thousands of students, teachers and business partners from all over the country gather at the SkillsUSA Nationals to celebrate the future of the nation’s skilled workforce. Their mission to help build a highly skilled workforce for the future, across many different trades, falls right in line with Lincoln Tech's goals as well. National officers will lead elegant sessions for high-school and college/postsecondary students, and other activities at the conference will include educational seminars, career fairs, the largest technical trade show in the nation and the SkillsUSA Championship. At the Championship, students will have the chance to compete and showcase their skills in trades such as CNC technician, collision repair technology, diesel equipment technology, electronics technology, and many others.
With more than 16,000 people expected to be in attendance, including students, teachers and business partners, Lincoln will be able to connect with thousands of potential students and partners who are looking to further their professional goals with skills-based training.
