- In HVAC training labs and shops students are introduced to Green Technology, including Solar Thermal and Geothermal. As the first school in the country to incorporate Energy Auditing courses from the Green Mechanical Council, Lincoln Tech helps students enhance their skills and marketability to employers.
- Hospital and medical labs, clinical nursing facilities and examining rooms for students in Lincoln’s Medical Assisting and Practical Nursing Future healthcare professionals need to master the technical skills employers are looking for, and Lincoln crafted their programs around those skills.
- Classrooms and labs equipped with alternative energy technologies like fuel cells, photovoltaic systems, wind turbines and more are all in a day’s training for Electrical and Renewable Energy Technology This program was designed to meet society’s continuous demands for high and low-voltage electrical support in business and residential settings.

The campus is celebrating its 50th year on John Downey Drive. That’s right, things are looking golden in New Britain. Who knew when the campus opened in 1968, that 50 years later over 325 students a year would be building brighter futures in New Britain!

Graduates of New Britain are enjoying success at places like New England Mechanical Services, Solvit Home Services, A-1 Services, Griffin Electrical Contractors, Siemens, Network Installation Services, Medi-Weightloss, Starling Physicians, West Hartford Medical Center, Aaron Manor Nursing, Bel-Air Manor, Sheridan Woods Health Care Center and the American Red Cross.
Dressed for success - and fun! Medical Assistant students get to participate in Fun Scrubs MA Day. To raise money for local charities and food shelters, the students pay $1 to dress in the wildest, most colorful scrubs they can find!
Great taste is always on the menu! EJs Food Truck can be spotted on campus from Spring through Fall. Make sure to get on line for a yummy breakfast sandwich! For a fresh take, Stew Leonard’s Market draws crowds year round.
Local HVAC businesses helped create a Green Technology Training Lab. Led by F.W. Webb, a wholesale distributor of commercial, residential and industrial products, local companies came together to help students prepare for exciting careers and key industry certifications by donating equipment.
Instructors that really make the grade! Among the most sought after instructors on campus are multiple award winner Leroy Gay from the Electrical program, and Medical Assisting instructor Amy Koehler, a mother of five, who somehow makes the time to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Health, while leading classes at Lincoln Tech!
