"Hell's Kitchen" alumni Chef J.R. Robinson visits some of our culinary students

Lincoln Culinary Institute enjoys a reputation of excellence in preparing passionate “foodies” for careers in the kitchens of some of the country’s hottest dining spots. The success of Lincoln graduates stems from the training they receive in the schools’ real-world kitchens, delivered by instructors who are driven to bring out their best in their students. One of those instructors is Chef Taueret Thomas at the Columbia, MD campus – and recently Chef Taueret teamed with Chef J.R. Robinson from “Hell’s Kitchen” to bring a message of hard work and inspiration to Lincoln students.

On a trip to visit a local food bank, Chef J.R. stopped by Lincoln Culinary Institute, a division of Lincoln College of Technology, to meet with Chef Taueret about the school’s externship program, and took time to meet with students currently in training. “He encouraged our students to be serious about their education if they want to be successful,” Chef Taueret says. “He then spoke about his personal background, his culinary school experience, and how to be prepared for opportunities when they arise.  He told the students to take advantage of every volunteer experience that is offered to hone their skills.”

Graduates of Lincoln Culinary Institute locations around the country have gone on to exciting careers working with celebrities and even starting their own programs that give back to their communities. You can find the ingredients for a delicious new career of your own – learn more about Lincoln Culinary Institute today!
