Thirteen Days of Christmas at Lincoln Tech: Day Four

For the cumulative blog series, “Thirteen Days of Christmas at Lincoln Tech,” it seems like we received requests for 13 different types of wrenches – torque, ratchet, pipe, socket, adjustable, crowfoot, stubby and more. (Stubby?) Wrenches might be the number one “Holiday Wish List” item that Lincoln Tech instructors think would be ideal gifts for their students.
We wanted to hear why these gifts would be helpful, innovative or just great ways to share the holiday spirit. On our end, we asked the Auto Techs from Union, NJ if they could supply brake drums for a corporate office band of 12 drummers drumming. (Still waiting for a response.) No matter what holiday you celebrate this time of year, remember, it’s better to give than to receive. So if you run into a Lincoln Tech student, you’ll know how to make their holidays happy!
On The Fourth Day of Christmas at Lincoln Tech, instructors asked for … an Air Impact Gun, a DJI Image Professional Inspire Drone, a Suture Removal Simulator, and a 34 Channel USB Logic analyzer.
The Air Impact Gun was not the only item on Rocco Guarino’s Wish List. The Lincoln Tech instructor from Union, NJ also added a Metric Impact Socket Set, a Punch Set and Torque Wrench. “All these tools are universal, and can be used in any part of the trade,” explained Guarino.
Michael O’Guin from Lincoln Tech, Nashville conveniently provided “high, medium and low budget” items that any Auto Tech would definitely enjoy receiving – an AutoBoss V30 Diagnostic Scan Tool, a Matco Tools Tap & Die Set and Matco Tools Ratcheting Wrenches. “The AutoBoss works with a very wide range of vehicle models with great success in diagnostics, the Tap & Die Set from Matco makes thread repair a breeze, and anyone can benefit from a simple set of wrenches,” offered O’Guin. “As a technician you can never have too many tools.”
Lincoln Tech’s Automotive Partnerships Benefit Both Graduates and Employers.
