When your car needs a certified collision repair specialist after an accident, Service King Collision Repair Centers have been the place to turn for more than four decades.  And when Service King needs new skilled, trained technicians to grow their team, they turn to Lincoln Tech in Melrose Park!

This spring, four Lincoln Tech grads signed on for careers with Service King, and the Melrose Park campus was proud to host the “Signing Day” celebration.  For Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology graduates Christian Baylon, Magomed Gudanov, Daniel Materna, and Daniel Trandicosta, the event marked the start of the next stage in their professional journeys.

“The Service King organization is consistently recognized for its commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship,” says Karen Clark, President of the Melrose Park campus.  “We are overjoyed with the apprentice program Service King offers our students.  This is an outstanding way for our students to start their career path in the growing collision repair industry.”

A History of Excellence at Service King Collision Repair Centers

The first Service King center opened in Dallas, TX in 1976.  Since then the organization has expanded to 23 states around the country.  In 2015, Service King Collision Repair Centers was named “Best Place to Work” by both the Dallas and San Antonio Business Journals!

“Service King’s reputation in the collision industry is well known and they’re highly respected,” Clark adds.  “The opportunity to learn from their professional technicians provides our students with invaluable on-the-job experience.  We’re excited to be able to continue this mutually beneficial partnership.”

The Apprentice Development Program is a 52-week intensive training program that gives select student the chance to build hands-on collision skills inside Service King Collision Repair Centers.  Available at more than 30 Service King locations around the country, the program is limited to four students per site and a dedicated Service King Apprentice Supervisor oversees their work and education.
